What you need to know about how to choose a lubricant: A water-based lubricant is quite suitable for vaginal sex. Such lubricants have a more liquid consistency, as a rule, they need more to be compatible with condoms and sex toys. During vaginal sex, you usually have a certain amount of natural lubrication, so the "how slippery" parameter is not so critical. For sex toys, a water-based lubricant is best suited, not silicone or oil. But it depends on the material of the toy.. Silicone or oil lubricant is better suited for anal sex, because it is important that the lubricant is thick and does not dry out for a long time, because the anus does not release natural lubricant. Be careful if you suddenly want to experiment with flavors, cooling, warming, reducing or increasing sensitivity, and the like. Especially if you are going to use lubricant for anal sex: the skin on the anus is very delicate and does not have any natural protection, like the skin of the vagina or penis. It's best to use different types of lubricants for different types of sex. Firstly, because different types of sex require different qualities: for oral, the taste of lubricant is important (tip: take some rare flavors, because common ones, such as chocolate or cherries, are usually the most chemical and unpleasant), for anal— its density is important. Secondly, it will be cleaner this way. Imagine: you and your partner had vaginal sex, respectively, touching each other's genitals with your fingers. Then you decided to have anal sex. They collected lubricant with their fingers, which retained bacteria from the vagina, and placed it on the anus. Vaginal bacteria can disrupt its microflora. For the same reason, it is advisable to change the condom after each sexual intercourse. Follow the instructions to avoid unpleasant consequences. They usually write on lubricants what they are for (what kind of sex, whether they are compatible with toys and condoms, whether they can be used in water). If you feel anything unpleasant during sex (numbness, burning, irritation, whatever), immediately interrupt the act and wash off the lubricant. The choice is very wide now. Lubricants are available for every taste (literally) and purse. There are also lubricants with unusual additional effects, but remember that everything is individual. What your friends or people liked on the Internet will turn out to be a disappointment or give you an allergic reaction. Treat the choice of lubricant responsibly and remember the main rules: oil lubricants are not friendly with latex condoms; silicone lubricants are not friendly with silicone toys. And the rest is complete freedom of action!
